Initially ABS started Oqaab DTT services via analogue DVB-T technology and currently they are using updated DVB-T2 technology.

For better signals and picture quality now ABS planning their first Afghanistan DTH Service - Oqaab HD+. In February 2019, ABS’s Chief Operating Officer Andi Wilmers announced first Afghanistan DTH - Oqaab DTH Service Oqaab HD+ expected to be launched in August 2019.
